The current manager of Villarreal is Unai Emery, a Spanish football coach born on November 3, 1971, in Hondarribia, Spain. Emery started his career at the grassroots level and worked his way up until he became a head coach for several Spanish clubs. He managed Valencia CF for four years and won three Europa League competitions with Sevilla FC between 2013 and 2016. Emery has also managed Paris Saint-Germain and Arsenal before joining Villarreal in 2020. Under his leadership, Villarreal has achieved some notable successes, including reaching the final of the Europa League in the 2020/21 season.
